DIANA VERHULST

DVM, CertEP, MRCVS,
Advanced Practitioner
in Equine Practice

Diana is the director of the equine clinic and has over 30 years’ experience as an equine vet, including a particular focus on equine reproduction and medicine. She obtained the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons’ Certificate in Equine Practice in 1998. Diana is an FEI permitted treating veterinarian, and regularly officiates at Fakenham Racecourse.

FAYE DAVIS

VPAC, REVN

Faye is the equine veterinary nurse and practice manager. She gained an HND in Equine Management from Bishop Burton College and has worked at Burnham Market Eventing Centre. After gaining experience working at both a mixed and small animal practice, she began working at Anchorage Barn in 2006 where she has gained her REVN and VPAC qualifications.

POPPY MITCHELL

BSc (Hons) MA VetMB
Cert AVP MRCVS

Poppy graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2004 and has worked in equine veterinary practice since graduation. She has lived and worked in Norfolk since 2010 with the exception of two years which she spent practising in Australia. Poppy has a strong interest in equine medicine and dentistry and was awarded a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice in 2014.

SUSIE CATHERALL-OSTLER

BA VetMB MRCVS

Susie grew up in Norfolk and graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2022 before joining the team at Anchorage Barn in September of that year. She has a particular interest in equine physiotherapy and, in June 2026, completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the University of Nottingham. She also enjoys all aspects of equine medicine and dentistry. Outside of work, Susie enjoys spending time with her ex-racehorse, playing netball, and cycling.

ZOE WILSON

BVet Med Hons MRes CertAVP(EM) MRCVS

Zoë graduated with honours from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008. Following graduation, Zoë completed an internship in the Equine Referral Hospital and a Masters by Research in the Neuromuscular Laboratory at the Royal Veterinary College. She has over 10 years experience in equine practice and has spent the last 8 years in a large equine practice in Essex, before joining us in September 2021. Zoë has a special clinical interest in all aspects of equine internal medicine. She completed a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Equine Internal Medicine) and became an Advanced Practitioner in Equine Internal Medicine in 2015.
